Catman, a DC Comics villain, debuted in Batman #210 (March 1969). Originally Thomas Blake, he was a world-famous cat burglar who, growing bored and seeking greater thrills, fashioned a costume made from an African cat hide.
This suit granted him enhanced agility and reflexes, enabling him to emulate the movements of a cat. He used specialized cat-themed weapons and gadgets in his criminal endeavors, often pitting himself against Batman and Robin.
